THE FLIGHT EXPERIENCE :)
Enjoy the opportunity of a flight from Rochester Airport where aviation started in September 1933.
From the air you will see the North Downs, the Medway estuary where it meets the Thames estuary and the Isle of Sheppey.
You are welcome to just be a passenger and enjoy the sights or experience some handling of flying the aircraft, under the supervision of a professional qualified flight instructor.
We offer a 60 minute flight for £180 and a 30 minute flight for £120 .
The aircraft type for the flight is an Ikarus C42 fixed wing microlight (see home page).
The minimum age for our Flight Experiences is 12 years of age.
The maximum passenger weight is 110kg and maximum height 6' 2" foot.

Our goal is to give our student pilots the skills, experience and confidence they need in order to become successful, safe and proficient private pilots.
This would involve training for an NPPL (National Private Pilot's Licence) on a fixed wing microlight aircraft (see top page).

What is the the NPPL?
The National Private Pilot’s Licence (NPPL) is a United Kingdom licence intended to meet the needs of those wishing to undertake recreational flying and is potentially simpler to maintain.
Whilst there are some restrictions, it offers the potential to gain your licence with a less strict aviation medical and with a reduced flight training syllabus.
We will consider flight training for student pilots from the age of 12 years. A student pilot can fly solo at 16 and apply for their license at 17.
Medical Requirements.
The Pilot Medical Declaration required is based on the DVLA driving medical standards.
